Many ice cream makers come with a removable pre-freeze bowl which must be placed in your freezer for a couple of hours ready for the ice cream making machine to get to work. However, some models have a built-in freezer, so you don’t need to pre-freeze the bowl, adding to the appeal of these rapidly improving appliances.
