Bosch – IntroductionBosch opened its first workshop in Stuttgart in 1886. Its first UK office was opened in 1898, when Robert Bosch decided that his company should branch out and have an overseas factory. Since then, Bosch has gone on to become a household name and is a major manufacturer and exporter of a wide range of electrical products. Bosch has recently launched a joint venture called BSH Ltd (Bosch and Siemens Home Appliance Ltd).
